connection takes priority over the 3G connection. When the DSL
WAN connection starts to perform dial-up, the 3G connection will
be disconnected. If the DSL WAN connection has established, you
may manually perform 3G dial-up, and then the DSL WAN connec-
tion will be disconnected.
LAN Setup
Click Advanced Setup > LAN (Figure 57) to define an IP address for the 3101 and configure the DHCP
server.

Configuring the private IP address for the 3101
On the LAN Setup page (Figure 57), you can change the device's IP address. The preset IP address is
192.168.1.1. This is the private IP address of the 3101 and the address that the device can be reached on in the
local network. The IP address under which the 3101 can be reached from outside the LAN is assigned by the
Internet Service Provider.
If you want to assign a different IP address to the 3101, enter it in the IP Address field. Adjust the Subnet
Mask if necessary. You should use an address from a block that is reserved for private use (192.168.1.1-
192.168.255.254).
