4.18.6 Replacing the 15.0 Inch XGA LG.Philips Fluorescent Lamp
CAUTION: When replacing the fluorescent lamp, wear finger covers or gloves to avoid
contaminating or damaging the LCD panel. Be careful not to let dust or other foreign
substance into the module.
Disassembling the 15.0 Inch XGA LG.Philips Fluorescent Lamp
To disassemble the 15.0 inch XGA LG.Philips fluorescent lamp, follow the steps below and
refer to figures 4-90 to 4-93.
1. Remove the outside tape and cover shield.
1) Remove the adhesive tape fixing the B/L wire. Be careful not to apply to the
B/L wire.
2) Remove the cover shield (G). Be careful not to apply excessive force to the
gate TCP.
3) Remove the cover shield (C). Be careful not to apply excessive force to the
source PCB.
CUATION: Wear anti-static gloves to prevent circuit damage caused by ESC.
4) Remove the tape shield and adhesive tape fixing the top tape. Be careful not to
apply excessive force to the top case.
