2000 will ask you to identify the port and com-
puter. If your printer is a network printer, select
that option and identify the printer. (Figure 4.16)
4. If the printer is local and Plug and Play, Windows
2000 will attempt to locate it and notify you if it
identifies the printer. (Figure 4.17)
5. Once your printer has been detected, you will be
asked if you would like to print a test page. If this
is a new printer, you should allow Windows to
perform the test. (Figure 4.18)
6. Once the Add Printer Wizard has finished, you
will see a list of the settings that have been estab-
lished for this printer. (Figure 4.19)
