Checks
Is the problem noted at the same
position on all copies made in
Direct?
Does the scanning lamp flicker
when the scanner is moving
forward?
Check the developing assembly
spacer for toner adhesion or
deformation. Is toner noted on the
portion (photosensitive drum
surface) where the developing
assembly spacer comes into
contact?
Is the development bias applied
normally?
Make reduced copies, and check
them against copies made in
Direct. Is the problem noted at
different positions?
