Epson 1520 Printer User Manual

High Speed
This setting activates bidirectional printing, which reduces the
time it takes to print an image. Keep in mind that High Speed
should be switched off for highest quality printing.
Note:
If vertical lines printed when High Speed is selected appear
misaligned, you may need to align the print heads. For details, see
“Aligning the Print Heads” on page 10-40.
Flip Horizontal
This feature flips the image 180° along its vertical axis. Printed
images and text appear backwards.
Finest Detail
If you select
Fine - 720 dpi
as the Print Quality setting, you can
turn on Finest Detail to print text and line art with very sharp
edges. Be aware that it may take considerably longer to print
using this feature and it will increase your Macintosh memory
requirements. Additionally, you may not be able to print some
larger images, and some patterns may not print correctly. If
you experience problems printing with Finest Detail on, turn it
off or add more memory.
