Procedure
To print hex dumps, make sure that continuous forms paper is loaded
into the printer. Then proceed as follows:
1. Enter setup mode.
Press the ↑MICRO button and the ↓MICRO button simultane-
ously until the printer beeps. Wait for the printer to stop printing
and check that the following <<FUNCTION>> menu is printed:
2. Select the HEX-DUMP function.
Repeatedly press the “←” or “→” button to position the red
cursor on HEX-DUMP, then press the “↑” button or the “↓”
button to select the HEX-DUMP function. The printer goes
online and prints a header and a short help menu.
3. Print the hex dump.
To start hex dump printing, send your file or program to the
printer. The printer goes online and prints the hex dump.
Press the ↑MICRO button or the ↓MICRO button to pause
during hex dump printing. To resume hex dump printing,
press the button again.
NOTE
When hex dump printing stops, the printer remains online in
setup mode (the ONLINE indicator is green). To print
another hex dump, send another file to the printer.
