Print Quality Problems

Image misregistration
The printed image is
mispositioned on the
page.

1. Paper improperly loaded into
paper tray
2. Wrong paper size for
application
3. Paper loaded into tray in the
wrong orientation
1. Check trays for proper paper loading
(see
Chapter 2
).
2. Check paper stock and printer
configuration.
3. Check trays for proper paper loading
(see
Chapter 2
).
If problem is not resolved, contact your
dealer or Xerox / Rank Xerox.
Produce a Test Print (see
Chapter 3
)
Fold and crease the Test Print as shown.
Both horizontal and vertical folds
should fall within the area defined by
the first set of large tick marks on either
side of the center cross target.
If the pattern registers OK, the problem may
be in your software application.
If the pattern is not properly registered,
contact your dealer or Xerox / Rank Xerox.
