Audio Tones
You can select whether or not to have a sound that confirms an operation and an alarm
when there is a fault.
All default values when shipped from the factory are [On].
1 Select [Audio Tones].
2 Select the items to be set or changed.
3 Select [Off] or [On].
Note • To enable the sound, select [On], and to
disable the sound, select [Off].
4 Select [Save].
5 Select [Save].
Panel Select Tone
Select the sound to be made when a button displayed on the screen is correctly
selected.
Panel Alert Tone
Select the sound to be made when a button that cannot be selected is selected, or an
error occurs.
Base Tone
Select the sound to be made when the <interrupt> button is pressed while in interrupt
mode or when <Copy from Memory> is selected while copying from memory.
Machine Ready Tone
Select the sound for when the machine is ready to copy or print, after powering on, for
example.
Originals Set Tone
Select the sound to be made when an original is inserted.
Job Complete Tone
Select the sound to be made when a copy or print finishes normally.
Low Toner Alert Tone
Select the sound to be made when the toner supply is low.
Low Media Alert Tone
Select the sound to be made when media needs to be installed or replaced.
