The <Copy from Memory>, <Clear all>, <Interrupt>, and <Start> buttons are not used
on the Xerox 6204 Wide Format Printer (WFP) model.

1 Touch screen Displays messages required for operation and on-screen "buttons" for
various features. You can directly touch the screen to select operations
or options and set features.
2 <Transmitting> indicator Lights while the machine is communicating with external connected
devices.
3 <Jobs in Memory> indicator Lights when data is stored in the machine's memory.
4 <Original/Media settings>
button
Used to display the Original/Media settings screen to confirm. Set them
when the types of original and media are changed.
5 <Machine Status> button Used to confirm the machine status, billing meters, and media status.
6 <Log In/Out> button Used to display the System Administrator mode screen.
7 <Copy> button

<Custom 1>
<Custom 2 >
Used to describe and name a custom feature.

You can change the custom features for each button by selecting the
features displayed in the menu screen.

The factory default settings for the Xerox 6204 Wide Format
Copier/Printer model for these buttons: Copy for the <Custom 1>
button, and none for the <Custom 2> button (which you can set to
Scan, for example).

The factory default settings for the Xerox 6204 Wide Format Printer
(WFP) model for these buttons: Language selection for <Custom 1>
button, none for <Custom 2> button.

8 <Menu> button Used to display the menu screen.
9 <Copy from Memory>
button/indicator

Used to reprint the most recently copied original again. This indicator
lights when copied original is stored in memory to reprint.
10 <Power Saver> button If the machine is not operated for a while, the machine's power
consumption is lowered to enter the Power Saver mode. In the Power
Saver mode, this button is lit. To cancel the Power Saver mode, press
this button.
11 Brightness dial Adjusts the brightness of the touch screen. Use this dial to adjust the
brightness of touch screen when it is too dark or too bright to read.
12 <Clear All> button

Returns the status of all displayed services to their default values.
13 <Interrupt> button /
indicator

Used to temporarily stop a continuous copy job or printing to give
another job higher priority. When requesting an interrupt, the <Interrupt>
indicator is blinking. During an interrupt, the <Interrupt> indicator is lit.
Pressing the <Interrupt> button again cancels the interrupt, and the
previous operation (suspended job) is resumed.
14 <Stop> button Used to stop loading the current original, copying, scanning, or printing
the job.
15 Numeric keypad Used to enter the number of copies, passwords, and other numerical
values.
In text descriptions, these buttons are indicated as the "numeric
keypad".
16 <Start> button

Used to start scanning original.
17 <C> button Press this button if you have entered the wrong numerical value using
the numeric keypad.
