Disable Feature for A Drive-Succeeds
In the following example, we set the drive to zero timeout; the
idle eject feature will be disabled for the specified drive.
Disable Feature for A Drive-Fails
In the following example, we set the drive to zero timeout; but
the idle eject feature will not be disabled.
Note
This example assumes the global IDLETIME parameter has been
set to zero also.
# drivestat -e 0 1
Setting Idle Eject value for drive 1, juke 1,
from 480 to 0 seconds. OK [y/n]? y
Drive 1, in juke 1, will not eject idle volumes
(feature disabled).
Note
This example assumes the global IDLETIME parameter has been
set to 31 seconds.
# drivestat -e 0 1
Setting Idle Eject value for drive 1, juke 1, from
480 to 0 seconds. OK [y/n]? y
Drive 1, in juke 1, will eject idle volumes after
31 seconds (global idletime).
