Option Description
-f Force the assignment of new files to a specified
volume group, even if there are existing files
under the path tree.
NOTE: This option works only six levels
deep.Therefore, run it as many times as
necessary.
-u Usage statement
-y Suppress interactive messages
path Enter the absolute path (such as
/archive/dir1) to the directory
NOTE: This directory must already exist.
volumegroup
(defaults to 0)
Enter the numerical volume group assignment.
Valid assignments are 1 through 2047.
