Settings
[TEST PATTERN]
Displays the test pattern built-in to the projector.
Settings of position, size, and other factors will not
be reected in test patterns. Make sure to display the
input signal before performing various adjustments.
1) Press
to select [TEST PATTERN].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.

The test pattern is displayed.
3) Press
to switch the various test
patterns.
z
Press the <MENU> button or the <RETURN>
button to return to the sub-menu of
[PROJECTOR SETUP].
To display sequence of internal
test patterns
The setting will change as follows each time you
press

Horizontal lines
All white
Vertical lines
Color bars
Dots
White cross on black background
Cross hatch
Black cross on white background

The default screen is all white. If you assign this to
the <FUNC1> to <FUNC3> buttons, Cross hatch
becomes the default.
[INITIALIZE ALL]
You can return various setting values to the factory
default settings.
When you perform this function, the projector enters
standby mode to initialize.
1) Press
to select [INITIALIZE ALL].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.

[INITIALIZE ALL] is displayed.
z
Password entry is required if you have set [ON]
in the [SECURITY] menu
→
[PASSWORD]
(
page 75).
3) Press
to select [OK].
4) Press the <ENTER> button.
z
The [NOW INITIALIZING...] screen appears,
and is followed by [POWER OFF.].
5) Press the <ENTER> button.
z
Key operations other than the <ENTER> button
and the power
button are unavailable at
this time.
6) Wait until the power indicator <ON
(G)/STANDBY (R)> of the projector
illuminates or ashes red (the fan
stops).
7) Press the <OFF> side of the <MAIN
POWER> switch to turn off the power.

The initial setting screen appears the next time
the projector is started. (

Note

The projector usage time, lamp usage time, and
[NETWORK] settings are not initialized.
z
After performing initialization, the password is
returned to its factory default and [PASSWORD] is
set to [OFF].
