Select “On” or “Off” using the scroll buttons and press

. To store the document in the bulletin board memory,
select “On”

The document scans into memory. The display asks if you
want to send another page. Change the page and select
“Yes” or “No”. If “Yes” is selected, the next page is scanned.
Repeat this until all pages are scanned then select “No”.

The machine returns to idle mode.
Polling Documents from Another Machine
(Delay RCV Poll)
Delayed polling allows you to program the machine to poll a
remote machine at a later time. When you use delay RCV Poll to
retrieve a document, the remote machine must be ready to be
polled.

Make sure that the machine is in the fax idle mode. If
necessary, press
Fax
to enter the fax idle mode.

You can use
Resolution
,
Original Type
,
Darkness
and/or
Duplex
to choose the appropriate sending condition for the
document. For details, see “Adjusting the Document
Settings” on page 2.6.

Press
Menu
until “Fax Features” appears on the top line of
the display.

Press the scroll buttons until “Polling” displays on the
bottom line and then press
Enter
.

Press the scroll buttons until “Delay RCV Poll” displays on the
bottom line and then press

Enter the number of the remote fax machine using the
number keypad.
To enter the number, you can also press
Phonebook
and
enter a speed dial number.
Press
Enter
to confirm the number.
