Make sure that you have selected the required paper tray.

To enter Book Copy feature, press
Menu
until you see
“Copy Features” on the top line of the display.

Press the
scroll
buttons to display “Book Copy” on the
bottom line and press
Enter
.

scroll
buttons to select the option you want and
press
Enter
to save the selection. The following options are
available:
•
Off
: This feature is disabled.
•
Left Page
: Use this option to print left page of the book.
•
Right Page
: Use this option to print right page of the
book.
•
Both Pages
: Use this option to print both pages of the
book.

If necessary, you can customize the copy settings including
copy size and image type using the control panel buttons.
See “Setting Copy Options” on page 4.6.

Press
Start
to begin copying.

When the copying is completed, press
Stop/Clear
to
cancel Book Copy feature.
Using Auto Suppress
The Auto Suppress feature allows you to copy an original from a
newspaper or magazine to remove its background image.

Load the document to be copied on the document glass,
and close the cover.
