Using the Group Mail
You can store several e-mail addresses in a specific group and
quickly send e-mails to the group members.
Creating a Group Mail

Press
E-mail
. The e-mail idle screen displays “From” or “My
Login Name” on the top line according to the authentication
setting your system administrator made through the
authorized user setup. For details, see “Setting Authorized
Users” on page 7.3.

Press
Menu
until “E-Mail Features” appears on the top line
of the display.

Press the scroll buttons until “Group Mail” displays on the
bottom line and then press
Enter
.

Press the scroll buttons until “New” displays on the bottom
line and then press
Enter
.

Enter a group number (1 to 50) using the number keypad
and then press
Enter
.

Enter a group name using the alphabet keypad and then
press
Enter
.
You can skip this step without entering a name. If there is
no group name, a group number displays when you view or
edit the group.

Enter an e-mail address that you want to include in the
group and then press
Enter
.
You can directly enter an e-mail address using the alphabet
keypad. You can include numbers in the e-mail address by
using the number keypad.
You can also retrieve an e-mail address from the local or
global addressbook by pressing
Address Book
. Select
“Local” or “Global” according to the addressbook type. The
local addressbook contains e-mail addresses stored in your
machine. The global addressbook shows the addresses
retrieved from the configured LDAP server.
