If you use the DADF to input the original
documents, the output will be delivered in one of
the following ways, assuming a three-page job.
• In a basic, single-copy job, output is delivered
face down in 1, 2, 3 order.
• In a multiple-copy job, output is delivered to
the Output Tray face up with copies of the first
page on the bottom and copies of the last
page on top in 3/3/3, 2/2/2, 1/1/1 order.
• In a multiple-copy job using a Sorter/Mailbox,
one set of output is delivered, face down, to
each of three separate bins in 1, 2, 3 order.
WARNING: Never open the cover of the Duplex
Automatic Document Feeder while the copier/
printer is running. Injury or a document jam may
occur.
Never cheat the safety interlock switches. They
control the built-in safety features of the feeder.
