3. Tilt up the optical drive, remove the two T6 screws on the ex cable board. Remove the ex
cable board from the optical drive.
Disconnect the temperature sensor cable from its connector on the logic board. On the 4.
bottom of the optical drive, peel back the foam gasket (not shown) and disconnect the
sensor from the sensor clip. Replacement Note: Install a new foam gasket when replacing
the optical drive. A replacement foam gasket is included with all optical and hard drives.
