Removing the Optical Flex Cable
Remove the two T6 screws from the cable attached to the logic board.1.
Lift the exible cable out of the rear housing. 2.
Replacing the Optical Flex Cable
Position the cable into the rear housing.1.
Replace the two T6 screws that secure the optical ex cable to the logic board.2.
Replace the optical fan3. .
Replace the optical drive.4.
Replace the T6 screws on the optical exible cable.5.
Replace the display panel.6.
Replace the front bezel7. .
Clean and replace the glass panel8. . Note: This step is very important. Follow the procedures
to ensure the glass is clean and free of particles.
Replace the access door9. .
