Authentication Method
— The authentication method used to authenticate users. The possible field
values are:
None
— No user authentication is used.
MD5
Password
— Indicates that HMAC-MD5-96 password is used for authentication. The user
should enter a password.
SHA Password
— Users are authenticated using the HMAC-SHA-96 authentication level.
The user should enter a password.
MD5
Key— Users are authenticated using the HMAC-MD5 algorithm.
SHA
Key — Users are authenticated using the HMAC-SHA-96 authentication level.
Password
(0-32 Characters)
— Modifies the user-defined password for a group. Passwords can contain
a maximum of 32 alphanumeric characters.
Authentication Key (MD5-16; SHA-20 hexa chars)
— Defines the HMAC-MD5-96 or
HMAC-SHA-96 authentication level. The authentication and privacy keys are entered to define the
authentication key. If only authentication is required, 16 bytes are defined for MD5. If both privacy
and authentication are required, 32 bytes are defined for MD5. Each byte in hexadecimal character
strings is two hexadecimal digits. Each byte can be separated by a period or a colon.
Privacy Key (16 hexa characters)
— If only authentication is required, 20 bytes are defined. If both
privacy and authentication are required, 16 bytes are defined. Each byte in hexadecimal character
strings is two hexadecimal digits. Each byte can be separated by a period or colon.
Remove
— When checked, removes users from a specified group.
Checked
— Removes the user from the specified group.
Unchecked
— Maintains the user in the specified group.
