Display Settings menu
In the following table, asterisks (*) indicate the factory default setting.

Display Brightness Range: -10 to 10
Default = 0
Sets the brightness of the control
panel display. The default is 0.
This item also controls the
viewing angle at which the
display is visible.
Language Select from a list of languages
that the product supports.
Sets the language. The default
language is ENGLISH.
Show IP address Display*
Hide
Use this feature to display or
hide the IP address on the
control-panel display.
Sleep Mode Use sleep delay*
Use sleep schedule
Use Both
The sleep delay setting helps
save energy by having the
product enter a low-power mode
after a certain time of inactivity.
The sleep schedule automatically
wakes up the product at the start
of the workday. The sleep
schedule can be configured
using the EWS.
Inactivity Timeout Range: 10 – 300 seconds
Default = 60
Idle Timeout: The time period,
in seconds, after which an idle
TCP print data connection is
closed (default is 60 seconds, 0
disables the timeout).
Clearable Warnings On
Job*
Sets whether a warning is
cleared on the control panel or
when another job is sent.
Job: The warning message
disappears at the end of the job.
On: The warning message
remains until you press the OK
button.
Continuable Events Auto continue (10
seconds)*
Press OK to continue
Determines product behavior
when the system generates an
Auto Continuable error.
On: Allows the product to
continue printing.
Off: Stops the product from
printing until the error is cleared
by the user.
