Your opinion of what you read matters. Ratings, reviews, and recommendations of books by others
guide your choices toward eBooks and periodicals that you are more likely to enjoy. Your ratings,
reviews, and recommendations help guide other readers.
On your NOOK, you can:
• View reader ratings of eBooks in the eBookstore and in your library
• Rate eBooks and periodicals in your library
You can rate digital content in the My B&N Library section of your library. You cannot rate
personal content in My Documents.
On the B&N website, you can:
• View reader ratings of eBooks in the eBookstore and in your library
• Rate eBooks in the eBookstore and in your library
• View reviews of eBooks in the eBookstore
• Write reviews of eBooks in the eBookstore or in your library
Rating eBooks and Periodicals
You can rate eBooks and periodicals that you own from the detail page for an item in your library.
To rate an item:
1 On the Home menu, tap my library.
2 If you are viewing My Documents, tap Go to My B&N Library.
3 Browse or search for the item you want to rate. Using the Up and Down buttons, move the
selection marker on the reading screen to the item.
4 Tap Item details & options. Your NOOK displays a page of details for the item.
5 Tap the menu item that consists of stars. Your NOOK displays the ratings slider.
6 Tap the location of your rating or slide your finger to that position and then raise your finger.
