Settings
Settings let you control your NOOK experience. Set display characteristics, wallpaper, screensavers,
etc.
Manage settings by tapping settings on the Home menu:

To change a setting:
1 On the Home menu, tap settings.
2 Scroll up and down in the menus, choosing sub-menus until you reach the choice of settings.
The current value of the setting has a check mark next to it.
3 Tap the setting to choose it.
Settings Summary
When you tap settings on the Home menu, your NOOK displays a summary of important settings.
The settings on the first page of the settings summary are:
Setting Explanation and Values
Owner name Your name
Name of your nook An optional name for your NOOK
Email address Email address of the Barnes & Noble online account associated with your
NOOK (if registered)
Software version Version of the software running on your NOOK
microSD card Available and total memory on the supplemental microSD card, if present
Internal memory Available and total internal memory
Total memory Available and total memory counting both the internal memory and a
supplemental microSD card, if present
Battery charge Battery charge percentage
Wi-Fi hotspot The name of the Wi-Fi hotspot to which your NOOK is connected, or
Disconnected
Serial number (NOOK Wi-Fi) Serial number of your NOOK
MAC address (NOOK Wi-Fi) A hardware address for your NOOK
