Make sure the BJC-85 is connected properly with the computer via infrared port
Confirming correct infrared connection
1 Click Start, select Settings, and click Control Panel.
2 Double-click the Infrared Monitor icon.
3 Make sure that BJC-85 is listed as the currently active infrared device.
