Transporting the Printer
Follow this procedure to pack the printer carefully for transporting to a service center or for
long term storage. Use the packing material that you saved when you unpacked the printer.
■ Packing the Printer
1 Press the POWER button to turn the printer off.
2 If there is any paper in the sheet feeder, remove it.
3 Unplug the AC adapter power cord and interface cable from the printer.
If you have installed the battery from the optional Portable Kit NK-300,
remove the battery.
4 Close the top cover.
You can leave the BJ cartridge installed in the printer.
