Before You Call For Service
Before you call for service, please gather some information that will help the Canon
Customer Care Center find a solution for your problem.
Work through the troubleshooting descriptions of problems and solutions to attempt to solve
the problem. If you cannot solve the problem, follow the steps below and prepare answers
for some basic questions you may be asked by the technician.
■ Describing the problem
• Write a short memo describing the problem.
• Note any error messages that were displayed on the screen.
• Make sure you have all the important information about your system (amount of
memory, free disk space, current version number of the printer driver).
