Clearing the Top Output Bin
If the paper jam extends into the output area, as shown in Figure 7-2,
slowly and carefully pull the paper straight out of the mopier so it
doesn’t tear.

1 Open the door of Tray 1.
2 Check for paper in the pick-up roller of Tray 1.
3 Remove any paper from this area by pulling it in the direction shown by
the arrow in Figure 7-3.
4 Remove any and all pieces of torn paper. Carefully check to be sure you
have removed all scraps.
