Use the following guidelines when entering arguments:
z Enter values separated by a comma in octal (base 8), hexadecimal (base 16), or
decimal (base 10) format. Octal numbers have a leading zero and hexadecimal
numbers have a leading 0x. Refer to the Table 8-17
for more information.
z Type characters as their ASCII value.
z Do not use decimal points, tabs, or spaces when entering arguments.
z Enter at least one value when a
d
option is included with an argument.
d
represents the ASCII value for a character. Valid values are from 0 to 255.
