Cleaning Print Cartridge Nozzles
If print quality does not improve after repeatedly printing the
cleaning page, the problem may be caused by dried ink on the print
cartridges.
1
Open the cartridge door by grabbing the door handle at the
top edge.
2
Remove the print cartridges. For details, refer to step 3 under
“Replacing Print Cartridges” on page 6.12.
NOTES:
• Keep new and used print cartridges out of the reach of children.
• Once you have removed the print cartridges, ensure that they are
not out of the printer longer than 30 minutes.
• Be careful not to touch the ink nozzles or the electrical contacts.
Touching these parts of the print cartridge can result in clogs, ink
failure, or a bad electrical connection.
