Clearing Memory
You can selectively clear information stored in your product’s
memory.

Press Setup. The display shows “1.SYSTEM SETUP” on the
bottom line.

Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) until you see “7.MEMORY
CLEAR” and then press Enter.

Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) until you find the item you
want to clear. The following options are available:
• FAX NUMBER/NAME: Your fax number and name are
cleared from memory.
• DIAL/SCHEDULE: clears the phonebook numbers,
one-touch, speed dial, or group dial numbers stored in the
memory. Also, all Schedule Job operations reserved are
canceled.
• JOURNAL: clears all records of transmissions & receptions.
• DEFAULT SETUP: restores all settings to factory default.

Press Enter when your choice appears in the bottom line of
the display. The selected item is cleared and then the display
returns to Standby mode.
