ProSafe M4100 and M7100 Managed Switches
CLI: Enable RIP for Ports 1/0/2 and 1/0/3
This command sequence enables RIP for ports 1/0/2 and 1/0/3. Authentication defaults to
none, and no default route entry is created. The commands specify that both ports receive
both RIPv1 and RIPv2 frames, but send only RIPv2-formatted frames.

Web Interface: Enable RIP for Ports 1/0/2 and 1/0/3
1. Select Routing > RIP > Advanced > RIP Configuration.
A screen similar to the following displays.
2. Enter the following information:
In the Interface field, select 1/0/2.
For RIP Admin Mode, select the Enable radio button.
In the Send V
ersion field, select RIP-2.
3. Click Apply to save the settings.
