MST instance id 0 is the common internal spanning tree instance (CIST).
Example
The following example configures the MSTP instance 1 path cost for
interface 1/0/9 to 4.
console(config)#interface gigabitethernet 1/0/9
console(config-if-1/0/9)#spanning-tree mst 1 cost 4
spanning-tree mst port-priority
Use the spanning-tree mst port-priority command in Interface Configuration
mode to configure port priority. To return to the default port priority, use the
no form of this command.

Parameter Description
Default Configuration
The default port-priority for IEEE STP is 128. The default priority for a port-
channel is 96.
Parameter Description
instance-id
ID of the spanning-tree instance. (Range: 1-4094)
priority
The port priority. (Range: 0-240 in multiples of 16.)
