5.10.2.13 Codabar

Set this parameter to ON to enab le “ Co dabar ”.
Set Length L1 And Set Length L2
Lengths for “Codabar” can be set for Any length, Length within a range, One
discrete length or Two discrete lengths. The len gth of a code refe rs to the numbe r of
characte rs ( i.e ., human readable c hara cte rs) , including check di git(s).
Double-tapp ing on this paramet er di spl ays a dialog box la bell ed Set Code Lengths
where you can de fi ne the code len gth t hat will be r ecognized by yo ur sc anner.
Choosing One discrete length allo ws you to decode only those codes c onta ini ng a
selected length. Choo sing Two discrete lengths a llo ws you t o deco de onl y th ose
codes contai ning two select ed lengths . Length within a range allows you t o d ecode
a code type wi thi n a specifi ed ra nge f rom 5 t o 55.
CLSI Editing
When enabled, thi s parameter strips the st art an d stop charact ers and inser ts a space
after t he fi rst, fifth, and tenth ch ara cte rs of a 14-character Codabar symbol.
Note: Symbol length does not include start and stop characters.
NOTIS Editing
When enabled, th is parameter str ips the start and stop characte rs f rom dec oded
Codabar symbol.
