When “Addendum” is se t t o
Disabled, t he sc anner does not recognize an
addendum. If t his p ara me ter is s et to
Optional, the scanner sear ches for
an addendum and i f one exists, appen ds it to the main bar code. When the
parameter is set to
Required, the scanner d oes no t accept the main bar code
without an a ddendu m.
Note: Setting “Addendum” to ‘Optional’ reduces performance. It should only
be chosen if at least some of the bar codes being read have addendums.
