Replacing the toner cartridge
When the toner cartridge is nearing the end of its service life, the
warning indicator light is lit and the following message is
displayed in the message display area when the Consumables
Menu is accessed:
REORDER
CARTRIDGE-B0921
You can make up to 2100 more prints after you receive this
message, depending on area coverage. If print area coverage
exceeds approximately 5%, you may experience light images or
loss of image before you reach the additional 2100 prints.
Note: Keep a spare toner cartridge in stock so you are prepared
when the present toner cartridge needs replacement.
Toner cartridge replacement procedure
Table 5-13 lists the cartridge replacement message which appears
in the message display and shows the location of the toner
cartridge in the printer. When the fault indicator light is lit and
the message is displayed, the toner cartridge must be replaced
before the printer will resume operation.
