Problem Check point Possible solution
Unable to generate prints
from the host computer.
Are you receiving prints from
the host?
No? Check steps 1 to 7.
1. If Last Page LED/Indicator is on,
but not flashing and message
area states “LAST PAGE”, press
Last Page C button.
Is the problem corrected? No? Go to steps 2 and 3.
2. Print a configuration sheet. If
sheet will not print, power off
printer for 10 seconds, then
power back on.
3. Print a configuration sheet.
Can you print a configuration
sheet?
No? Go to step 7.
Yes? Go to step 4.
4. Review the configuration sheet.
Make sure the system
configuration and the emulations
are correctly set.
Is the configuration sheet
correct?
Yes? Go to step 5.
5. Make sure interface cable is
securely connected, and attached
to the correct ports on the
computer and the printer. Send
the document again.
Is the problem corrected? No? Go to step 6.
6. Review the host and the
applications manuals for potential
problems; then send the
document again.
Is the problem corrected? No? Go to step 7.
7. Call your local Rank Xerox service
representative.
