XEROX COAX/TWINAX OPTION
Hosts supported
When the XCTO kit is installed on the 4213 laser printer, it will
accept commands and data from an IBM Coax or Twinax host.
The following systems are typical of IBM Coax hosts:
• IBM 9370
• IBM 4381.
The following systems are typical of IBM Twinax hosts:
• IBM System 36
• IBM System 38
• IBM AS400.
Emulated printers
The 4213 laser printer equipped with the XCTO provides
emulations of several IBM printers, providing support for the vast
majority of data processing and office automation applications
running on IBM mini and mainframe computers.
You can configure between Coax and Twinax at the Main Menu,
which is accessed from the control panel.
The XCTO emulations
This section identifies the other various IBM printers that the
XCTO can emulate.
Table A3-1 shows six IBM Coax printers and the Xerox 4045
Model 20, along with the description of each printer, that the
XCTO can emulate.
