IBM error codes
This section describes the error codes which will be reported by
the 4213 laser printer to the error logging system.
Table A3-3. IBM Error Codes
Number Message Meaning/action
1410 IBM Type 1 error A condition has occurred that may cause loss of text
information.
1411 IBM Type 2 error A condition has occurred that may cause a change in the
intended appearance or presented information but does not
affect the interpretation of text or cause presentation space
overruns.
1412 IBM Type 3 error A data stream command has been received with an
unsupported control class or type code. This may result in
loss of text or change in appearance of presented
information.
1413 IBM Type 4 error An out of range control code parameter has been detected.
This may result in loss of text and or change in appearance
of presented information.
1414 IBM graphic character error An unsupported graphic character code has been detected.
This may result in a change in appearance of presented
information.
1415 IBM Invalid SCS parameter error An out of range control code parameter has been detected
in SCS mode. This may result in loss of text and/or change
in appearance of presented information.
1416 IBM invalid SCS command error A data stream command has been received in SCS mode
with an unsupported control class or type code. This may
result in loss of text and/or change in appearance of
presented information.
1417 IBM invalid character set ID
error
An invalid character set has been requested.
1418 IBM function not supported. An IBM command has been received which is not supported
by the selected printer type.
