Software Download
The Software Download screen (Figure 3-34) allows you to revise the BayStack
350 switch software image that is located in nonvolatile flash memory.
To download the BayStack 350 switch software image, a properly configured
Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) server must be present in your network, and
the switch must have an IP address. (See “IP Configuration” on page 3-7
to learn
how to configure the switch’s IP address.)
You can monitor the software download process by observing the BayStack 350
switch LEDs (see “
LED Indications During the Download Process” on
page 3-82
).
Caution:
Do not interrupt power to the device during the software download
process. If the power is interrupted, the firmware image can become corrupted.
