Display Properties
5.5.1.1 Display Backlight
The backligh t i s act ivated for a con figurable a mou nt of ti me wh en th e
WORKABOUT PRO is in use ( key p res s, sc anner t rig ger or data rec eiv ed f rom th e
host). The Display Properties di alog box in the Control Panel allows y ou to specify
the inten sit y of the backlight al ong wit h how long the display will maintai n the
speci fi ed in tensity.
Note: Keep in mind that this option may be restricted to supervisory use only.
•In the Display Properties dia log b ox, open the Backlight tab.
Notes: Backlight changes take effect immediately. You do not need to reset the
unit.
To maximize battery run time, keep the display backlight brightness and
active durations as low as possible.
Intensity
This parameter is used to adjust the light intensity of the WORKABOUT PRO
backlight . Sli ding the bar t o the left lower s the light int ensi ty, a nd sl idi ng it to the
right ra ises the int ens ity.
