CHECKING THE CLUTCH PLATES
The following procedure applies to all of the
clutch plates.
1. Check:
Sclutch plate
Damage ! Replace the clutch plates as a
set.
2. Measure:
Sclutch plate warpage
(with a surface plate and thickness gauge

)
Out of specification ! Replace the clutch
plates as a set.
Clutch plate warpage limit
Less than 0.1 mm
CHECKING THE CLUTCH SPRING
1. Check:
SClutch spring
Damage ! Replace as a set.
2. Measure:
SClutch spring free height
Out of specification ! Replace spring as a
set.
Free height limit (clutch spring):
6.0 mm

2. Check:
Sclutch spring plate seat
Damage ! Replace.
