CHECKING THE OIL PUMP
1. Check:
Soil pump drive gear

Soil pump driven gear

Soil pump housing
3
Soil pump housing cover
4
Cracks/damage/wear ! Replace the de-
fective part(-s).
2. Measure:
Sinner-rotor to outer-rotor tip clearance
A
Souter-rotor to oil-pump-housing clearance
B
Soil-pump-housing to inner-rotor and outer-
rotor clearance
C
Outer of specification ! Replace the oil
pump.

0.12 X 0.17 mm <Limit 0.2 mm>
Outer-rotor to oil-pump-housing

and outer-rotor clearance
0.03 X 0.08 mm <Limit 0.15 mm>
3. Check:
Soil pump operation
Unsmooth ! Repeat steps (1) and (2) or re-
place the defective part(-s).
