config 802.1p default_priority
Purpose To assign an 802.1p priority tag to an incoming untagged packet that
has no 802.1p priority tag.
Syntax
config 802.1p default_priority [<portlist> | all] <priority 0-7>
Description The config 802.1p default_priority command specifies the 802.1p
priority value an untagged, incoming packet is assigned before being
forwarded to its destination.
Parameters <portlist> A port or range of ports to be configured.
all Specifies that the config 802.1p default_priority command
applies to all ports on the Switch.
<priority 0-7> The 802.1p priority value that an untagged, incoming
packet is granted before being forwarded to its destination.
Restrictions Only administrator or operator level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure 802.1p default priority on the Switch:
DGS3100# config 802.1p default_priority all 5
Success.
DGS3100#
show 802.1p default_priority
Purpose To display the currently configured 802.1p priority value that is
assigned to an incoming, untagged packet before being forwarded to
its destination.

show 802.1p default_priority {<portlist>}
Description The show 802.1p default_priority command displays the currently
configured 802.1p priority value that is assigned to an incoming,
untagged packet before being forwarded to its destination.
Parameters <portlist> A port or range of ports to be displayed.
Restrictions None.
Example usage:
To display the current 802.1p default priority configuration on the Switch:
DGS3100# show 802.1p default_priority
