Chapter 12 - Configuring PPP and Cellular Modem
The Use peer DNS checkbox enables automatically setting the DNS server entries
that the PPP server recommends. Enable this option unless you provide your own
name servers.
The Maximum Dial Attempts field specifies number of consecutive connection
attempts the modem dial the phone number before it stops. If the number is 0, it will
never stop and dial until the connection is established. Otherwise, a Reconnect button
will appear in the Modem Main Menu after specified number of consecutive failed
connection attempts.
The Dial Interval field determines how many seconds to wait before re-initiating the
link after it terminates.
