Ipsec VPN Configuration
VPN Main Menu Before Key Generation
Upon the first entry to this menu you will prompted to generate a VPN host key. Key
generation will require about 30 seconds to complete after which the menu appearance
will change.
VPN Main Menu
The new menu appearance will resemble that of the following menu with the
exception that you will be warned that VPN networking is not enabled. Enable VPN
networking via the System folder, Bootup And Shutdown menu.
After a VPN connection is created this menu will display an icon for the connection,
as shown in the next view of the VPN Configuration menu.
The “Add defaults for all connections” link allows you to create a profile that will
apply to all connections for items such as key type, encryption protocol and
compression. These defaults can then be overridden on a per connection basis.
The “Add a new IPsec VPN connection” link creates a new connection and its icon.
The “Import connection from file” link creates new connections from imported data.
Select the Server Configuration icon to configure server parameters.
Select the Preshared Keys icon to create, delete and edit pre-shared keys.
