➀ Local Broadcast
Check the "TCP/IP and/or "IPX/SPX" boxes if you want NetPanel to search for printers using these protocols. Click
[OK] to save the setting.
NOTE: Both “TCP/IP” and “SPX/IPX” are checked as a factory default.
● TCP/IP
The TCP/IP protocol is used when searching for printers.
● IPX/SPX
The IPX/SPX protocol is used when searching for printers.
➁ Auto-Discovery Time
Enter the time in the time format “HH:MM” to automatically search for printers. Click on [OK] to save the setting.
NOTE: It is set with “00:00” as a factory default.
➂ Clear Database
Click on [OK] to clear the data preserved by NetPanel to quickly display the search results.
NOTE: This is not available when a printer search is in progress.
➃ Update Database
Click on [OK] to start a printer search and save the search results.
NOTE: This is not available when a printer search is in progress.
➄ User Specify Printer(s)
Enter the IP address of the printer being searched. Separate multiple IP addresses with a comma (,). Click on [OK]
to save the setting.
