SETUP NetWare at MAP
Start MAP, open the NetWare setup page, and configure the settings to enable the printer to
operate in the NetWare environment.

Enter each field that applies:
Enable NetWare To use the printer under the operation of a NetWare
server or Peer-to-Peer Utility (IPX/SPX).
Print Server Name Enter the name of the print server to be created. It must
match the setting in NetWare. “MFP_XXXXXX” is set as
a default name. This is assigned as the port name when
the Peer-to-Peer Utility (IPX/SPX) is used.
Print Server Password Please do not change.
Password Retype Please do not change.
Preferred Bindery File Server Enter the preferred file server name. It is available only in
bindery mode.
Preferred NDS Context Enter the preferred NDS context. It is available only in
NDS mode.
Preferred NDS Tree Enter the preferred NDS tree name. It is available only in
NDS mode.
