Saving configuration changes
To save the running configuration to a configuration file, use the following command:
save config [filename]
If you do not specify a filename of up to 128 alphanumeric characters, the command replaces the startup
configuration file that was loaded the last time the software was rebooted. (To display the filename of that
configuration file, see “Displaying boot information” (page 653).)
