Chapter 4 : Designing a Label
4.1. BarTender Integration
General introduction This section describes how 123 Print integrates with Seagull’s
BarTender to help you easily create BarTender labels to include in your
123 Print projects.
The steps that follow require:
BarTender Enterprise Edition be installed and activated on your
system
Datamax printer driver for the target printer be installed on your
system as a Windows printer for the label you are creating
The BarTender label you create must have a Datamax printer name
saved in the label format.
The preparation of a label for use with a 123 Print project involves both
123 Print and BarTender.
1 Run 123 Print
2 Click File
3 Click Open
4 Select the project that is to use the label you are going to create
The main 123 Print window is displayed as shown here.
Note: The project that was open when you last quit 123 Print is re-
opened by default when 123 Print is restarted.
