user-key
The user-key SSH Public Key-string Configuration mode command specifies which SSH
public key is manually configured. To remove an SSH public key, use the
no form of this
command.
Syntax
user-key username {rsa | dsa}
no user-key username
Parameters
username — Specifies the username of the remote SSH client. (Range: 1-48
characters)
rsa — Indicates the RSA key pair.
dsa — Indicates the DSA key pair.
Default Configuration
No SSH public keys exist.
Command Mode
SSH Public Key-string Configuration mode
User Guidelines
Follow this command with the key-string SSH Public Key-String Configuration mode
command to specify the key.
Example
The following example enables manually configuring an SSH public key for SSH public
key-chain
bob.
