CPTR[9:8]:
The CPTR[9:8] bits, along with the CPTR[7:0] bits in the TPOP Current
Pointer LSB Register reflect the value of the current payload pointer being
inserted in the transmit stream. The value may be changed by loading a new
pointer value using the TPOP Arbitrary Pointer LSB and MSB Registers, or by
inserting positive and negative pointer movements using the PSE and NSE
register bits.
It is recommended the CPTR[9:0] value be software de-bounced to ensure a
correct value is received.
